Do more of what you love
When you ache so heavily for things to go your way, that it begins to spoil your mind, your body, and spirit. When it slowly turns you sour from the inside out.
The desire to cling fast onto ideas, plans, beliefs, people. I believe that as humans we grip frantically to the idea of stability. We want to keep things exactly how they are, to stay in the safe zone of familiarity. We are uncomfortable of the idea of change, to be turned upside down and shaken by our roots. We build brick walls around our lives so that we never have to be shifted, shaken or moved. While in reality all the world around us is in a constant state of change and growth. Even our strongest bricks and mortar is no match for the universe.
So in short This is what I believe. Do more of what you love - no matter what it takes to get you there. And do less of what you hate. Granted this is easier said than done, but try dear humans. We only have one life to live, live it to the fullest. Give yourself a little room to lean, sway, dance. And don't forget to grow along the way.
The one thing I've learned is the importance of recognizing your stress. And working through it. And then my dears you will heal. So in closing, rather than be content with familiarity and complacency adopt a mindset of flight and fight.
